June 13, 2014 06:50 AM

On June 2, Estonia’s postal administration changed its international name to Omniva. The name is derived from the Latin word omni, meaning all-inclusive.

According to the press release announcing the change, the name will be used for its logistics solutions and business operations in the Baltic domestic market, while the name Eesti Post will be retained for post offices and the mail delivery service, and will be the legal name of the company in Estonia.

Over the next few months, the Omniva trademark will be introduced in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
