  • The United States Christmas Magi forever stamp issued Nov. 19 is no longer available from the Postal Service’s retail order sites, but still can be purchased at most U.S. post offices.

The Christmas Magi forever stamp issued Nov. 19 is no longer available for ordering from the United States Postal Service’s retail websites.

The double-sided pane of 20 in convertible booklet format was taken off sale at USPS Stamp Fulfillment Services and the associated USPS websites on eBay and usps.com.

Postal Service spokesman Mark Saunders told Linn’s the stamps were removed from sale because inventories were getting low.

“That said, we still have more than 5 million booklets in post offices,” Saunders added.

Collectors who want to add the stamps to a collection should consider obtaining them soon from a local post office.

The Christmas Magi stamps are stylistically similar to the Holy Family stamps issued in convertible booklets in 2012 (Scott 4711) and in panes of 20 in 2013 (4813).
