2015 ASDA Midwest Postage Stamp Show set for March

February 17, 2015 11:49 AM

The following is a release from the American Stamp Dealers Association:

The American Stamp Dealers Association will hold its second stamp show of its second century in mid-March when it unveils the ASDA Midwest Postage Stamp Show between March 13-15 at the Lindner Conference Center, 610 East Butterfield Road, Lombard, Ill.

The ASDA celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2014.

Show hours will be 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday. Both admission and parking are free.

“We will have dealers from nine stamps, most of them from the Midwest, but with representation from both the east and west coasts,” said ASDA Treasurer and show representative Jim Bardo. “The dealers in attendance are active buyers and sellers and will be happy to provide free appraisals to the public during the duration of the show.”

Bardo continued, “I am excited that we have put together a bourse that offers a wide range of dealers specialties among the booth holders, and that all of the dealers at this show — many of them full-time professionals — have inventories that are both broad and deep. I think collectors who attend this show will be impressed with the quality of the material offered.”

Additional upcoming ASDA shows include the ASDA Spring Postage Stamp Show at the New York Hilton (1335 Avenue of the Americas in New York City) held from April 16-18, and the ASDA Northern California Postage Stamp Show at the Westin Hotel (1 Old Bayshore Highway, Millbrae, CA) held from July 10-12.

Additional information is available from the ASDA on the association's website and by email at
