Linn's Stamp News gives you a quick look at what's going on in the world of stamp-collecting.

1. Special Olympics release

The U.S. Postal Service's Special Olympics World Games forever stamp was made available on May 9, and can be purchased online in blocks of four or 10, and panes of 20.

“The Postal Service is pleased to honor Special Olympics, an organization that — for nearly five decades — has changed the world by creating opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities,” said USPS Pacific Area Vice President Dean Granholm.

2. Europhilex 2015 underway

"Europhilex, the 2015 international stamp exhibition, opened in London on Wednesday, May 13, to a good crowd of collectors eager to purchase from Royal Mail the souvenir sheet marking the 175th anniversary of the Penny Black."
