Aloha stamp collectors!
Hawaii is celebrating its 50th anniversary of statehood in 2009. The islands have been featured on a number of U.S. stamps over the years, and this month’s newsletter has the information you need to start collecting them.
We also head into outer space to take a look at what’s been happening on Jupiter, and to pick up a couple postmarks to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing.
September will bring us new U.S. stamps featuring a Thanksiving Day parade scene, actor Gary Cooper, and prominent Supreme Court justices. And the upcoming October issue of Scott Stamp Monthly will offer even more great stamp information and features for collectors.
