Ellen Degeneres stars at stamp ceremony

Ellen Degeneres — stamp fan? The popular talk show host and animal lover showed a fondness for the new Adopt a Shelter Pet stamps when she participated in the April 30 first-day ceremony. Although she didn't claim to be a collector, she's sure to save this very special stamp set.

Collectors on both coasts had an opportunity to celebrate new stamps recently. This month's newsletter includes photos from the Adopt a Shelter Pet event in California and the Monarch Butterly ceremony in New York.
