Stamp issuing year coming to a close

Only a few more United States stamps are still planned for this year, but that could change quickly if the Postal Service is granted the rate increase it requested for January.

Who knows? It's possible we will see more new U.S. stamps in December.

Included in this newsletter are photographs from the American Philatelic Society's big Stampshow, held in August. We also have a feature about stamps depicting haunted sites, a look at what the Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue has to offer, and details about the latest issue of Scott Stamp Monthly.

Happy collecting!
