Stamps meet technology

For collectors owning a smartphone or computer tablet, Canada Post is offering a Stamps Alive mobile application in conjunction with some of its newest stamp issues. One experience offers the opportunity to try your skill at barrel racing with a horse from the Calgary Stampede.

Other features this month include photos from first-day ceremonies for the Lousiana Bicentennial stamp and the Great Film Directors set.

We also take a look at the many new United States stamp issues for June. And don't forget to eat your vegetables ... or just collect ones shown on new worldwide stamps!
