The Nov. 28 edition of the United States Postal Service’s Postal Bulletin contains 14 holiday-themed postmarks offering a variety of designs to celebrate the season.

The United States Postal Service temporarily suspended international mail service to Canada as of Nov. 25 due to a national strike of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers which began Nov. 15.

The United States Postal Service is launching a new online catalog for its Operation Santa children’s gift program, the USPS said in a Nov. 18 press release.

The design highlights the Postal Service’s role in delivering holiday cheer, featuring a USPS delivery truck crossing a stone bridge, framed by a festive border of holly leaves and berries.

The new postmark is much more legible, and it seems that different things are also being tried with the character limits.

The commemorative postmark, featuring the historic White Water Village in Harrison, Ohio, pays tribute to early Shaker settlements in the United States.
