Holiday-themed postmarks spread joy across United States

Postmark Pursuit by Molly Goad
The Nov. 28 edition of the United
States Postal Service’s Postal Bulletin contains 14 holiday-themed
postmarks offering a variety of designs to celebrate the season. These special
cancellations capture both sacred and secular motifs, with illustrations that
include Santa’s workshop, Madonna and Child, wreaths, snowy landscapes, and
angels.
Among the festive offerings is the
Star, N.C., postmark shown nearby, which features a cheerful snowman design.
