During its Nov. 14 meeting, the United States Postal Service’s board of governors unanimously reelected Amber F. McReynolds to serve as chair of the board for a second term.
The board of governors also unanimously reelected Derek Kan to serve another term as vice chair.
“McReynolds has served on the Board of Governors since May 2021, following her confirmation by the U.S. Senate to serve the remainder of a seven-year term that expires on Dec. 8, 2026,” the Postal Service said in a Nov. 14 press release. “Previously, McReynolds was elected to serve as vice chairwoman of the Board on Nov. 14, 2023.”
During 2025 McReynolds chaired the board’s election mail committee and served on the operations committee.
McReynolds graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a certified election registration administrator.
“Kan has served on the Board of Governors since May 2022, following his confirmation by the U.S. Senate to serve the remainder of a seven-year term that expires on Dec. 8, 2028,” the USPS said.
Kan currently serves on the board’s compensation and governance committee and operations committee.
