Myanmar plans to privatize its stamps
The director general of Myanmar’s Internal Revenue Department, Min Htut, said that the nation’s postage stamp business will be privatized soon, according to a May 20 report from the Myanmar news site, Eleven.
Htut added that approval had been received from the attorney general’s office.
The report also mentioned that Myanmar’s stamps bring in about $5 billion a year in revenue.
