When Dreams Blossom forever stamp variety May 2 at show
A new variety of the Where Dreams Blossom forever stamp will bear a 2014 year date.
A new variety of the United States Where Dreams Blossom forever stamp, with a 2014 year date, will be issued May 2 in Boxborough, Mass.
Postal Service spokesman Mark Saunders told Linn’s, “Only the year date printed on the stamp will change, as will become the new standard whenever a regular-issue or special-issue forever stamp is reprinted in a new year at a new postage rate.”
A first-day ceremony for the 2014 version of the Where Dreams Blossom stamp will take place at the Northeastern Federation of Stamp Clubs’ Philatelic Show 2014. The annual exhibition and stamp bourse will be held May 2-4 at the Holiday Inn Boxborough, 242 Adams Place, approximately 25 miles northwest of Boston.
A ceremony time has not been set, but is tentatively planned for the afternoon.
The first version of the Where Dreams Blossom stamp (Scott 4764) was issued April 11, 2013. It was printed by Sennett Security Products in a pane of 20.
