Celebrity Chefs stamps Sept. 26 in Chicago

The United States Celebrity Chefs commemorative forever stamps will be issued Sept. 26 in Chicago, Ill.

Postal Service spokesman Roy Betts told Linn’s that the first-day ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the Park Grill Chicago, 11 N. Michigan Ave.

Details about the chefs being honored on the stamps were not revealed as of Linn’s press deadline.

Rumors indicate that Julia Child will be one of the chefs featured on the stamps.

Betts stated that the subjects of the stamp issue have not been announced.
