Jersey features protected species
Jersey Post features protected animal species on its new computer-vended postage labels called post & go.
Jersey Post will introduce new computer-produced self-adhesive postage labels featuring the island’s protected animal species Feb. 18, the first day of the spring Stampex show in London.
Jersey Post calls these labels “post & go.”
The new labels will show illustrations by Andrew Beckett of a puffin, agile frog, red squirrel, green lizard, hedgehog and barn owl.
Jersey’s post & go machines are powered by Great Britain’s Royal Mail. A service designation is printed at the time of purchase.
In addition to the new Jersey Protected Species labels, the post & go machines also will vend labels with the Jersey flag design introduced in February 2014.
