APS seeks director of technology and innovation

The American Philatelic Society has announced that it is hiring for the position of director of technology and innovation.
“The Director of Technology & Innovation will lead the strategic use of technology to optimize operations, strengthen member engagement, and enhance learning and e-commerce capabilities,” the APS said in a post about the position on the APS website, www.stamps.org/about/employment-opportunities.
According to the posting, the position will focus on modernizing the society’s web-based services, to include redeveloping the APS website.
“The ideal candidate is a mid-career technology professional with strong business insight and a proven record of driving organizational change through technology,” the APS said.
Interested candidates are asked to submit their resume and cover letter to talent@stamps.org by 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Oct. 31. Applications lacking a cover letter will not be considered.
