Exhibiting prospectus available for June 13-14 Okpex show

The exhibiting prospectus is now available for the June 13-14 Okpex show to be held at the Student Union of Rose State College, 1910 Hudiburg Drive, in Midwest City, Okla.

The prospectus is available through exhibits chair Scott Braden by email at smwbraden@gmail.com or by mail at 3813 Shadowridge Drive, Norman, OK 73072.

Completed entry forms must be received by May 12. The show will feature up to 125 exhibit frames.

Okpex is an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately qualifying show. The exhibitor winning the Okpex multiframe grand award will qualify for the Champion of Champions competition to be held at the Great American Stamp Show in Schaumburg, Ill., Aug. 14-17.

The Okpex single-frame grand award winner will qualify for the single-frame Champion of Champions competition at the Chicagopex show near Chicago, Nov. 21-23.

Okpex will feature a bourse (sales area) of up to 15 dealers, and the United States Postal Service will have a booth at the show. There will also be a youth table and informal appraisals.

The annual meeting of the Oklahoma Philatelic Society will take place 2 p.m. Friday.

Show hours are Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
