Exhibiting prospectus for June Okpex show

The exhibiting prospectus for the June 28-29 Okpex show is now available from show chairman Joe Crosby.

Collectors interested in exhibiting at the show in Midwest City, Okla., can contact Crosby by email at joecrosby@cox.net or by mail at 5009 Barnsteeple Court, Oklahoma City, OK 73142. Completed entry forms must be received by May 25.

The show venue is the Student Union of Rose State College, 1910 Hudiburg Drive in Midwest City. This is a new location for the show.

Show hours are Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Okpex is an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately qualifying show. The exhibitor winning the Okpex multiframe grand award will qualify for the Champion of Champions competition at the Great American Stamp Show in Hartford, Conn., Aug. 15-18.

The Okpex single-frame grand award winner will qualify for the single-frame Champion of Champions competition at the Chicagopex show near Chicago Nov. 22-24.

Okpex will feature a bourse (sales area) of up to 15 dealers, and the United States Postal Service will have a booth at the show. There will also be a youth table and informal appraisals.

The show’s theme honors the bicentennial of Forts Gibson and Towson in Oklahoma.
