Megan Brennan takes over as postmaster general: Morning Report
Megan Brennan took over as postmaster general on Feb. 1.

1. New postmaster general
Megan Brennan officially assumed the office of postmaster general Sunday. She is the 74th postmaster general, and the first woman to hold the position.
Brennan was appointed in November, after former Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe announced his retirement effective Feb. 1.

According to PennLive.com, a news site covering central Pennsylvania, Brennan began her career with the U.S. Postal Service in 1986 as a letter carrier in Lancaster County, Penn.
