Westport centennial postmark shows Grays Harbor lighthouse

The postmark celebrating the centennial anniversary of Westport, Wash, shows Grays Harbor Lighthouse.
The small community of Westport, Wash., located on the Pacific coast at Grays Harbor, celebrated the 100th anniversary of its 1914 incorporation June 26.
Stamp collectors might recognize the Grays Harbor Lighthouse on the commemorative postmark created for the anniversary because the structure was featured on one of the five 41¢ stamps in the Pacific Coast Lighthouses set issued June 21, 2007 (Scott 4146-4150).
The five stamps in the set were issued with a first-day ceremony in the seaside town.
