Souvenir sheet, booklet for U.S. Rudolph issue
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer block of four stamps to be issued in November.
The designs for the four Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer forever stamps were unveiled in late September by the United States Postal Service.
The stamps are planned for issuance in November as a double-sided pane of 20 (convertible booklet format) and a souvenir sheet of two. The souvenir sheet was first revealed in the Oct. 2 Postal Bulletin.
“The souvenir sheet is still in development,” said Postal Service spokesman Mark Saunders. “No image is available yet.”
The four stamps depict movie stills showing Rudolph; the elf Hermey and Rudolph; Santa Claus; and Bumble, the abominable snow monster.
An exact issue date and first-day-of-issue ceremony location have not been announced.
