You bought it: Latest USPS releases, 1943 $1 Canada stamp
The new Martin Ramirez forever stamps are among the recent USPS releases acquired by a Linn's Stamp News reader.
As part of our continued conversation with our readers, we like to ask Linn's Stamp News Facebook fans to share stories about the philatelic acquisitions they've made recently.
Below are the recent purchases and discoveries our fans told us about on Facebook along with the reasoning behind the buys and finds:
Ron Smith: "Received my order for the past two months' issues from the USPS. The Martin Ramirez issues are pretty cool!"
Chris Baron: "Attended DelPex, so I picked up two airmail line pairs I was missing plus a couple of WashFranks that I hadn't found in the various collections I've acquired."
Allen Rinnemaki: "1943 $1 Canada Scott #262 MNH. $100 value. Got it for $50 at Danepex in Madison, Wisconsin today. Score!!!"
Richard L. Beecher: "I went to a stamp show in Bellingham, Washington on Saturday the 18th. I bought some Machin commercial covers and a U.S. Certificate of Mailing that included the recent 86 cent Puffin stamp."
Stamps and Philately: "Nothing special, only 300 different stamps from the Philippines."
Jack Holloway: "I purchased, on line, from Royal Mail Stamps & Collectibles UK several 175 anniversary items of the Penny Black to be issued in May. They will go well with my real ones."
