African philately seminar May 14 in Denver
A seminar on African Philately will take place Thursday, May 14 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Denver International Airport, 15500 E. 40th Ave., in Denver, Colo.
The seminar, beginning at 10 a.m., is hosted by the Philatelic Society of Greater Southern Africa in association with the Rocky Mountain Stamp Show, taking place May 15-17 at the same location. The seminar is open to the public with no fee.
Tim Bartshe and Colin Fraser have organized the full-day event covering a number of themes relating to African philately. Twelve half-hour presentations will explore different aspects of African philately, each from a different presenter.
In the evening there will be a no-host dinner with a noted philatelist as the guest speaker.
