APS staffers assisting World Stamp Show planning
Three members of the American Philatelic Society staff are joining forces with World Stamp Show-NY 2016 as ex-officio members, according to a Sept. 21 news release from the upcoming New York international show.
APS Executive Director Scott English, Chief Operating Officer Ken Martin and Director of Shows and Exhibitions Megan Orient were welcomed by show President Wade Saadi, who said, “We are very fortunate to have their participation. These APS leaders will play a significant role in making our show a success. We thank all three and welcome them to our organization.”
English, who joined the APS Aug. 10, is the former chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford of South Carolina, and previously served as chief operating officer of the South Carolina Department of Education.
