APS seeks to hire marketing manager

The American Philatelic Society announced in mid-February that it is seeking a marketing manager.
According to the job description posted on the APS website, www.stamps.org, the marketing manager will “lead the execution of integrated marketing efforts that drive engagement and participation across programs and platforms and significantly grows membership. This role is ideal for a creative, data-driven marketer who thrives in a small team environment and enjoys balancing strategy with day-to-day production.”
The APS marketing manager will be responsible for the following critical responsibilities: email and newsletter marketing, marketing automation and journeys, digital and web content, social media management, campaign planning and integration, print and physical marketing assets, and analytics and performance optimization.
Among the required qualifications are a demonstrated ability to craft engaging newsletter, email marketing, social media and website copy, and “proven experience configuring and managing automated marketing systems, including developing and optimizing high performing triggered and campaign specific marketing journeys,” the APS said.
Preferred qualifications include experience using AI to simplify workflows and create marketing content. Experience or background in philately, collectibles or hobby sectors is also desired, the APS said.
