Boston 2026 receives Federation of European Philatelic Associations recognition
By Linn’s Staff
The Federation of European Philatelic Associations (FEPA) has granted recognition status to the Boston 2026 World Expo, Thomas Fortunato, public relations chair for Boston 2026, said in an Aug. 22 press release.
The recognition allows Boston 2026 to market and promote the exhibition through the Federation of European Philatelic Associations’ channels, grants the exhibition technical expertise as requested, and gives Boston 2026 the use of the federation’s logo and flag.
Although Federation of European Philatelic Associations recognition is usually reserved for exhibitions in Europe, Fortunato said, the federation’s board is aware of the global importance of Boston 2026 and wishes to help promote the show in Europe.
The Federation of European Philatelic Associations consists of national philatelic federations, associations and unions in 45 countries. Information on the federation can be found online at fepanews.com.
Boston 2026 World Expo will take place May 23-30, 2026, at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center. Show details and instructions to sign up for email updates can be found on the Boston 2026 website and via the expo’s Facebook, X and Instagram pages.
