Club to conduct Stamp Out Cancer auction April 19; donations being accepted
The Quad City Stamp Club will conduct its annual Stamp Out Cancer auction April 19 at the Center for Active Seniors, 1035 W. Kimberly Road, Davenport, Iowa.
The auction will start at 1 p.m., and viewing of the lots at 11 a.m. Mail and e-mail bids will be accepted.
Over the past 35 years, donors to the Stamp Out Cancer auction have helped the club to raise $258,658 for the American Cancer Society.
Donations for this year’s auction are being accepted. The donations should be received by March 1 to be included in the catalog. The club asks that catalogs more than four years old not be donated. All donations are tax deductible.
Catalogs for this April 19 Stamp Out Cancer auction can be requested by e-mail at pmats5@aol.com or by mail from the Quad City Stamp Club, Box 1301, Moline, IL 61266-9301. Donations can be sent to the post office box or sent by UPS to Stamp Out Cancer Auction, 3854 Manchester Drive, Bettendorf, IA 52722. The entire proceeds of the auction will benefit the American Cancer Society.
