Columbus, Ohio, stamp show returns May 31-June 1

By Linn’s Staff
After its 2023 hiatus, the Colopex stamp show presented by the Columbus Philatelic Club is back.
The two-day event is set for May 31-June 1 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Columbus-Worthington, 175 Hutchinson Ave., in Columbus, Ohio. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The 2023 show was canceled due to the Great American Stamp Show held in Cleveland in August 2023.
Colopex 2024 will feature a bourse (sales area) of 19 dealers and 120 frames of competitive exhibits.
Because Colopex is an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately show, the multiframe grand award winner is eligible for the Champion of Champions competition at the Great American Stamp Show in Hartford, Conn., Aug. 15-18.
The Colopex 2024 single-frame grand award winner will be eligible for the single-frame championship at the Chicagopex show Nov. 22-24 in Itasca, Ill.
Colopex 2024 judges include Jay Stotts, Ken Martin, Regis Hoffman and apprentice Fred Lutt.
After the show on Friday, a hospitality event will take place on the show floor from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Refreshments will be provided in the German Village Room.
The awards breakfast will take place at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the show hotel.
