Editorial staff changes announced at Linn’s and Scott
Donna Houseman has been named editorial director for the Amos Media stamp group, consisting of Linn’s Stamp News and the Scott postage stamp catalogs.
In her role as chief editor of both Linn’s and Scott, she will play a critical role in the direction of the stamp group, assuring proper positioning and editorial approach for both titles. Additionally, she will work closely with the Amos Media digital development group to further enhance the online presence for both titles.
Jeff Greisch, president of Amos Media, said May 21 to the Amos staff: “Donna is well suited for the position, having worked with both titles for decades. She was named managing editor of both Linn’s and Scott in 2013. Donna was editor of Scott Stamp Monthly and has served as lead editor of the Scott Classic Specialized Catalogue of Stamp and Covers 1840-1940 since 2011. She also has a strong background in digital media.
“She is a passionate and active collector, having authored five best-selling Philatelic Gems books and edited and contributed to numerous other books, including the popular Linn’s U.S. Stamp Yearbooks.”
Charles “Chad” Snee will assume the role of managing editor of both Linn’s and the Scott catalogs. Greisch said, “Chad also has a deep and rich history in the Amos stamp group, having been with Linn’s and Scott for more than 15 years. Chad has held senior editorial roles with both Linn’s and Scott, and was editor of the Scott catalogs for the past four years.
“Chad’s experience with both titles is invaluable. His catalog expertise and his attention to detail on all fronts perfectly suit Chad to his role as managing editor.”
Michael Baadke has been named associate editor for both Linn’s and Scott. Greisch said, “Mike’s experience is rooted in Linn’s, having held staff and senior editorial leadership positions with Linn’s since 1993.”
