The Elvis Presley forever stamp that will be issued Aug. 12 will be offered with two varieties of press sheets: both with and without the die cuts that normally separate individual stamps.

Each press sheet contains nine 16-stamp panes configured three across by three down, for a total of 144 stamps, and sells for the postage value of $70.56.

The United States Postal Service reports that 500 press sheets with die cuts and 1,500 press sheets without die cuts are available for purchase.

Press sheets with die cuts are USPS item 589006; without die cuts are item 589008.
