Jersey Post to honor NatWest Island Games
Jersey Post has announced two stamp issues for June: the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta on June 15 and the NatWest Island Games XVI on June 27.
The six stamps for the Magna Carta feature contemporary interpretations of ideologies taken from the Magna Carta that also resonate today. They are justice, freedom, human rights, liberty, citizenship and democracy. The denominations range from 47 pence to 95p.

A total of 14 nondenominated postcard-rate stamps promote the NatWest Island Games XVI to be hosted by Jersey from June 27 to July 3.
The designs represent the sporting categories at the these games for competitors from 24 islands. A prestige booklet with text and illustrations in addition to stamps also will be issued.
