Jordan issued three stamps and a souvenir sheet to mark the May 24 visit of Pope Francis.

The three stamps, denominated 20 piasters, 30pi and 40pi, show different images of the pope in the foreground and scenes of Jordan in the background.

The 30pi stamp also pictures King Abdullah II of Jordan.

In addition to honoring the visit of Pope Francis, the souvenir sheet also commemorates the 1964 visit of Pope Paul VI, the 2000 visit of Pope John Paul and the 2009 visit of Pope Benedict XVI.

The sheet, which has a face value of 50pi, shows the designs of the new 20pi stamp, a 1964 50-fils stamp (Scott 430), a 2000 200f stamp (1683) and a 2009 30pi stamp (1961).
