New 1¢ Bobcat coil on the prowl

The new variety of the 1¢ Bobcat coil stamp was issued Saturday, Feb. 21, in Mesa, Ariz.
The United States Postal Service issued a new variety of its 1¢ Bobcat coil on Saturday (Feb. 21) during the Aripex stamp show in Mesa, Ariz.
The self-adhesive stamp is printed in coils of 10,000, but collectors can order a smaller strip of 100 stamps from the Postal Service online, or Stamp Fulfillment Services by mail or phone. Use item No. 786905 to order the strip of 100.

This new variety has a 2015 year date in the margin at upper left. Plate numbers appear on every 27th stamp.
