U.S. Postal Service Stamp Services confirmed the sold-out status to Linn’s Aug. 27.
The stamps were issued Nov. 11, 2013, in a folded pane of 20 called a “prestige folio” by the Postal Service.
The variety of the Medal of Honor: World War II press sheet manufactured with die cuts remains available from the Postal Service.
Both types of press sheets, with die cuts and without die cuts, were produced in a quantity of 2,500. The press sheets comprise three panes of stamps with a total face value of $29.40.
