Philatelic auction to benefit diabetes programs underway

This cover franked with the 1847 United States 10¢ black George Washington stamp is being offered in the Tour de Cure online auction to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The auction ends at noon Eastern Time on March 25.
Stamp Auction Network is conducting its annual Droege Tour de Cure auction to benefit the American Diabetes Association in its mission to prevent and cure diabetes.
Collectors have an opportunity to place online bids for United States and worldwide stamps, covers and collections that have been donated by Stamp Auction Network affiliated auction firms and registered bidders.
Funds raised during the auction will be donated to the ADA through the Droege American Diabetes Tour de Cure Donation page.
The auction offers an appealing eclectic mix of philatelic items listed with low starting bids, including the 1847 United States 10¢ black George Washington (Scott 2) used on cover, a used 2¢ black "Black Jack" Andrew Jackson with Z grill (85B), a cover carried on the space shuttle Challenger, plus many worldwide items and collections from Argentina to Vatican City.
The auction closes March 25 at noon Eastern Time.
