Pope Francis in 3D

The Philippines will issue stamps in January 2015 to commemorate the visit of Pope Francis. A contest was held to determine the stamp designs. Salvador Banares Bryan, Michael Bunag, Mark Leo Maac and Dave Arjay Tan created the four winning entries.

Several reports in local newspapers quoted the Philippine Postal Corp. as saying that the Pope Francis stamps will be shaped like coins and will be printed in 3D embossing and hot foil stamping.
