Upcoming Canada stamps promote care of your pets

Cats and dogs are pictured on Canada Post's Love Your Pet stamps to be issued May 2.
Five stamps to be issued May 2 by Canada Post illustrate the theme of love for and responsible care of your pets.
Canada Post describes the issue as celebrating "the companionship, joy and loyalty between pets and pet owners," and also reports that the stamp issue is a collaborative effort with the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies.
The three designs depicting cats represent spaying and neuter, vet care and identification. The two dog designs symbolize exercise and hydration.
Canada Post will issue this permanent-rate self-adhesive stamps in a booklet of 10 (two of each design), and a souvenir sheet of five.
