You bought it: Reader purchases 1960s stamp album, another starts Mexican collection

As part of our continued conversation with our readers, we like to ask Linn's Stamps News Facebook fans to share stories about the philatelic acquisitions they've made recently.

Below are the recent purchases and discoveries our fans told us about on Facebook, along with the reasoning behind the buys and finds:

• Art Fischer: "Went to an auction and found an old (60's) stamp album with about 200+ stamps between the pages. None were mounted. Got it for $7.50 and spent the rest of the weekend cataloging my finds."
• Franklin Shaffer: "I decided to expand my collection to include Mexico. This past week, including yesterday, Saturday, I began receiving my eBay purchases of Mexican stamps."
• Clay Morgan: "Sadly none."
