Boston 2026 World Expo appoints international post office relations chair
By Linn’s Staff
In a Jan. 5 press release, Boston 2026 public relations chair Thomas Fortunato said that Armagan Ozdinc has taken on the role of international post office relations chair.
Ozdinc’s role will include coordinating the international postal administrations participating in the Boston 2026 World Expo.
“As the list of participating postal administrations from around the world continues to grow,” Boston 2026 executive director Mark Butterline said, “it was time that a dedicated manager handles their needs and recruit others to join them now that importation and tariff hurdles are cleared. Armagan, who has been helping us in our recruiting efforts for some time, was the most appropriate person to be appointed for this role.”
Ozdinc is a fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London and serves on the board of directors for the Scandinavian Collectors Club, but he may be best known as a specialist in the study of engraved stamp issues by Martin Mörck and Czesław Słania. He has written and presented extensively on the subject.
In his personal life, Ozdinc has nearly 40 years of experience in software development, medical device design controls, and project and quality management, much of it with Siemens Healthineers in Delaware, New York and Pennsylvania.
The Boston 2026 World Expo will take place May 23-30, 2026, at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center. Show details and instructions to sign up for email updates can be found at www.boston2026.org and via the expo’s Facebook, X and Instagram pages.
