Changes in United Nations 2024 program announced

By Linn’s Staff
The United Nations Postal Administration has outlined changes to its 2024 stamp program on its website.
The High Speed Trains stamps, originally scheduled to be issued Sept. 6, will now be issued Nov. 26 in six panes of four stamps denominated 73¢, $1.65, 1.20 francs, 1.90fr, €0.95 and €1.20.
A set of Crypto souvenir sheets previously scheduled to be issued Nov. 24 now no longer appears on the 2024 UNPA stamp program.
The UNPA told Linn’s in a Sept. 5 email that the Crypto stamps will be issued sometime in 2025.
A pane of three stamps denominated $1.65, 2.50fr and €1.90 for the 40th FIAP (Federation of Inter-Asian Philately) Asian International Stamp Exhibition in Shanghai, China, is now scheduled for November or December rather than the previously published date of Nov. 29.
The 2024 UNPA program is tentative and subject to change.
