A fourth collectible cinderella (stamplike label) for the Boston 2026 World Expo was issued Aug. 16 at the Great American Stamp Show in Hartford, Conn.

Boston 2026 World Expo will take place May 23-30, 2026, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Mass.

Additional details about the show can be found on its website.

The new label contains several elements, including a portrait of John Adams, a view of Adams addressing Congress and images of two United States 10¢ stamps (Scott 1543, 1544) from the 1974 American Revolution Bicentennial issue.

John Adams (1735-1826) was an American statesman, lawyer, and Founding Father who played a key role in the American Revolution. He served as a delegate to the Continental Congress and was a leading advocate for independence from Britain.

Adams was a key figure in the drafting of the Declaration of Independence and later served as the first vice president of the United States under George Washington.

In 1797 he became the second president of the United States.

Award-winning stamp designer Chris Calle created the label, which the Portland Stamp Company produced in 3,000 sheets of nine. The first three collectible labels, issued annually from 2021 through 2023, also feature art by Calle.

Like the first three sets of labels for Boston 2026, 450 limited edition sheets were signed by Calle. The unsigned and signed sheets are available via the website and by mail from Boston 2026 World Stamp Show Inc., Box 904, Sudbury, MA 01776. Checks can be made payable to “Boston 2026 World Stamp Show, Inc.”

One unsigned sheet may be ordered per person free of charge, but the shipping and handling fee is $5 for addresses in the United States and $10 for international. The signed sheets are $10 plus shipping.

All three of the prior labels are no longer available. The previous labels depicted a post rider in 2021, Ben Franklin in 2022 and Sam Adams in 2023.

Organizers for Boston 2026 plan to issue labels annually through to the exhibition.
