By Linn’s Staff
The Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs made the first of four $1,000 donations to the Boston 2026 World Expo, Thomas Fortunato, public relations chair for Boston 2026, said in a Nov. 7 press release.
The Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs will make three additional annual $1,000 donations leading up to the 2026 show.
“The Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs, host of the annual Southeastern Stamp Expo, is very proud to announce our donation to Boston ‘26,” federation president Charles O’Brien III said. “Our member clubs strongly support this initiative to promote worldwide philately.”
The federation includes 24 clubs and represents over 500 collectors throughout the southern United States and beyond. In January of each year, the federation hosts the Southeastern Stamp Expo, an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately exhibition.
More information on the Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs and the Southeastern Stamp Expo can be found online.
Boston 2026 World Expo will take place May 23-30, 2026, at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center. Show details and instructions to sign up for email updates can be found on the Boston 2026 website and via the expo’s Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram pages.
