An April 14 souvenir sheet from the United Nations Postal Administration features images of the United Nations pavilion at the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka, Japan.

The souvenir sheet contains three stamps denominated in three different currencies. From left to right, the stamps are denominated $1.65 for use from the post office at U.N. headquarters in New York City; 2.50 francs for use from the post office at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland; and €1.90 for use from the Vienna International Center in Vienna, Austria.

This souvenir sheet is being issued April 14, one day after the opening day of the exposition in Osaka, Japan. The expo will be open through Oct. 13. Each of the three stamps on the souvenir sheet shows close-up photos of the pavilions.

The selvage area of the sheet includes the U.N. pavilion’s logo of a white dove carrying an olive branch, as well as the text “United for a Better Future,” which is the U.N. pavilion’s theme for the expo.

The U.N. says its theme “will highlight the organization’s 80 years of efforts in tackling global challenges and crises, while urging collective action to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals through multilateral cooperation.”

The overall theme of Expo 2025 is “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” with other themes being “Saving Lives,” “Empowering Lives” and “Connecting Lives.”

The expo is expected to draw more than 28 million visitors, the U.N. says, and the U.N. pavilion will host exhibits and programming of 35 U.N. entities and 15 U.N. departments.

The souvenir sheets were printed by Joh Enschede Stamps Security Printers. The sheets measure 105 millimeters by 150mm, and the stamps are 30mm by 40mm.
