Updated exhibition regulations for Boston 2026
By Linn’s Staff
Boston 2026 World Expo public relations chair Thomas Fortunato announced in a July 2 press release that the exhibition rules and regulations for the show have been updated.
A number of competitive exhibition classes have been added after the International Federation of Philately (FIP) upgraded the status of the show from recognition to patronage.
“Everything is now formally in place to fulfill the patronage changeover,” Boston 2026 president Yamil Kouri said. “It has been a while coming, but well worth the wait.”
FIP consultant Reinaldo Macedo reviewed and approved the new guidelines, which do not affect exhibitors who have already applied, Fortunato said.
Selection of philatelic exhibits will continue until the Sept. 30 deadline, and commissioners will notify those with accepted exhibits by mid-November. Applications for literature exhibits will be accepted through Jan. 31, 2026.
Boston 2026 World Expo will take place May 23-30, 2026, at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center. Show details and instructions to sign up for email updates can be found on the Boston 2026 website and via the expo’s Facebook, X and Instagram pages.
