Volume 4A (countries of the world Jamaica through Luxembourg) and Vol. 4B (Macao through Mozambique) of the 2026 Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue are now available for purchase.

From the Scott Editors by Jay Bigalke

Another catalog season is upon us as we continue the journey of the 157-year history of the Scott catalogs. The 2026 volumes are the 182nd edition of the Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue.

Volume 4A includes listings for countries of the world Jamaica through Luxembourg.

Listings for countries of the world Macao through Mozambique can be found in Vol. 4B.

Volume 5A includes listings for the countries of the world Namibia through Philippines. Listings for Pitcairn Islands through Samoa can be found in Volume 5B.

Because Vol. 4B and 5B, respectively are a continuation of the first part of the Vol. 4 and 5 catalogs, the introduction pages are not repeated in each volume this year.

The Boston 2026 World Expo and the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary are being celebrated on the cover of the 2026 Scott catalogs.

The logo for the Boston show appears on the catalog’s spine, and the cover artwork is a close-up of the painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware River in an engraved style illustrated in pen and ink by master designer and engraver Martin Mörck.

Mexico was reviewed thoroughly and saw a mix of increases and decreases. Approximately 400 value changes were made throughout both the classic and standard time periods.

Classic values are holding steady for Mexico and only a handful of changes were made in that time frame. Most of those changes were for the Great Britain Post Offices in Mexico forerunners. An example of Scott A10 for Veracruz increased in value from $2,000 to $2,250.

One very recent increase for Mexico was for the 2023 Historic Center of Zacatecas UNESCO World Heritage Site stamp (Scott 3329) that went from $1.40 unused to $2.25.

Other countries in Vol. 4 that received reviews include the following (with the approximate number of changes made for each): Jordan (25), Kuwait (10), Lagos (130), Lebanon (15) and Libya (8).

Additional countries received reviews that are not noted in this letter. We encourage you to pay special attention to the Number Additions, Deletions and Changes listing in these volumes. We also suggest reading the catalog introduction, which includes an abundance of useful information.

A digital subscription is also available for the Scott catalogs, and information about the subscription can be found online at www.amosadvantage.com.
