More than 40 jury members accredited by the International Federation of Philately (FIP) will be responsible for judging 3,500 competitive frames of exhibits and almost 200 literature entries.

The Friends of Hartville is offering a pictorial postmark celebrating Valentine’s Day and honoring the historic Pony Express.

Those scheduled to be at the event include USPS art director Ethel Kessler and four of the 12 artists involved with the project: Dale Stephanos, Tim O’Brien, Marc Burckhardt and Kam Mak.

The honorees are Alexander T. Haimann of the United States; Jon Aitchison of the United Kingdom; Andrew Cheung of Hong Kong, China; and Ding Jinsong of the People’s Republic of China.

The 2026 March Party will play host to the United States Postal Service’s first-day ceremony for the new nondenominated (78¢) Sunflowers forever stamp designed by USPS art director Greg Breeding and featuring artwork by Nancy Stahl.

The stamps are designed by USPS art director Antonio Alcala from photographs by acclaimed lowrider photographers Humberto “Beto” Mendoza and Philip Gordon.

These machine cancellations may be fading further into the background of postal operations, but they have not vanished entirely.

The grant from the Turningpoint Foundation will be used to support the show’s youth area and activities.

The theme of this year’s symposium is “Revisiting American Postal History.” The symposium is co-sponsored by the National Postal Museum, American Philatelic Society and American Philatelic Research Library.

The stamp was designed by USPS art director Greg Breeding from original artwork by illustrator Nancy Stahl. The design features four stemmed sunflowers, one pair above the other, each facing in a different direction.
