A unique intersection of spirits and stamps will take center stage Dec. 3 in New York City as collectors and whisky enthusiasts gather for Scotch & Stamps: A Tasting and Exhibition Experience. The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Collectors Club’s headquarters, 58 W. 40th St., New York, N.Y.

Limited to 50 guests, the evening brings together two traditions rooted in craftsmanship: Scotch whisky and whisky-related philately.

Bacardi Limited will present a curated selection from its rare Scotch portfolio, offering guests an opportunity to sample notable single malts including Aberfeldy, Aultmore, Craigellachie, Deveron and Royal Brackla. Each whisky will be paired with small servings of traditional Scottish fare designed to complement the tasting notes of the drams.

Adding a philatelic dimension to the program, collector and researcher Ron Lesher will present an exhibition exploring the history of scotch as told through stamps, revenues and other fiscal material. His display will trace how distilleries, trade routes, taxation and branding have all been documented through postal and fiscal history.

Organizers describe the event as “a perfect pairing — one for the palate and one for the intellect,” offering both a sensory tasting and an educational look at whisky’s place in philately.

Admission is $40 per person, which includes all tastings, food and access to the exhibition. Reservations are available on a first-paid basis, and early registration is encouraged due to limited seating.
