Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corporation announces updated website
By Linn’s Staff
The Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corporation (IGPC) announced in an April 1 press release the launch of its updated website.
The new website includes postage stamps from nations not previously listed or available through IGPC. The website also features improved search filters with a new secure ordering and checkout platform.
With the help of artificial intelligence, IGPC enhanced tens of thousands of stamp images for the updated website.
IGPC president Sam Malamud said the website “will open the doors to countless collectors who previously had no idea of the greatness of our amazing hobby.”
According to the press release, IGPC launched its first website in the early 1990s and was the first global stamp collecting firm to have a website.
Manfred Lehman founded IGPC in 1957 as a one-stop postal and philatelic agent for emerging nations in need of aid in the operation of their post offices and the production, distribution, and marketing of their postage stamps.
Visitors to the updated website are welcome to send comments and suggestions to IGPC.
