By Linn’s Staff
Philatelic Show 2025 will take place April 18-20 at the Boxboro Regency Hotel and Conference Center, 242 Adams Place, in Boxborough, Mass.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
A bourse (sales area) of about 25 dealers will offer stamps, covers and postal history from the United States and worldwide, and the show will feature more than 150 frames of competitive exhibits. There will also be two frames of noncompetitive exhibits, one titled “Spellman Museum Treasures,” the other “Boston 2026.”
Members of the Boston 2026 organizing committee will have a table in the Parade Room. Both the U.S. Postal Service and United Nations Postal Administration will also have booths at the show.
For those arriving early, the show committee reminds attendees of the USPS first-day ceremony for the Battlefields of the American Revolution issue taking place April 16 at 11 a.m. at Minute Man National Historical Park’s North Bridge Visitor Center in Concord, Mass.
Convening societies at Philatelic Show include the American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors, Canal Zone Study Group, India Study Circle, Massachusetts Postal Research Society, Metropolitan Airpost Society, New Hampshire Postal History Society and Universal Ship Cancellation Society.
The Canal Zone Study Group will conduct its membership meeting at noon on Saturday; nonmembers are welcome.
An awards banquet will take place Saturday evening. The judges include chief judge Patricia Walker, Danforth Walker, Michael Bloom, Christopher Dahle and Kenneth Nilsestuen.
The Philatelic Show is an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately show. Therefore, the multiframe grand award winner is eligible for the Champion of Champions competition at the Great American Stamp Show in Schaumburg, Ill., Aug. 14-17.
The single-frame grand award winner will be eligible to compete in the single-frame championship at the Chicagopex show Nov. 21-23 in Itasca, Ill.
