The 82nd edition of the Minnesota Stamp Expo, an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately show, is set to take place July 18-20 at the Crystal Community Center, located at 4800 Douglas Drive N., Crystal, Minn.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Both parking and admission are free.

The show will feature approximately 25 dealers, a cachetmakers’ bourse and a silent auction. The United States Postal Service will operate a sales booth Friday and Saturday.

The stamp expo also will include an area for youth and Scouts. Scouts who stop by can begin the steps required for earning a stamp collecting merit badge. Free stamps and supplies will be provided.

On July 18, the first day of the show, the USPS will host a first-day ceremony for the new nondenominated (61¢) Schooner forever stamped postal card at 11 a.m. Among the ceremony speakers will be Cheryl Ganz, American Philatelic Society president.

The show will include 40 competitive exhibits in more than 140 frames. A team of five APS-accredited judges will judge the exhibits: chief judge Jan Hofmeyr, John Hotchner, Andrew Kelley, Raymond Pietruszka, Timothy Wait and Bruce Wasserman as an apprentice.

As a World Series of Philately show, the multiframe grand award winner at Minnesota Stamp Expo will be eligible to compete in the 2026 APS Champion of Champions exhibition to be held at the Boston 2026 World Expo May 23-30, 2026, in Boston, Mass.

The exhibit winning the single-frame grand award will qualify for the 2025 single-frame Champion of Champions competition at the Chicagopex show in Itasca, Ill., Nov. 21-23.

The Minnesota Stamp Expo’s 2025 people’s choice exhibit award winner will be eligible for the APS Most Popular Champion of Champions competition also to be held at the Boston 2026 show.

The Minnesota Stamp Expo is sponsored by the Twin City Philatelic Society, Lake Minnetonka Stamp Club, Maplewood Stamp Club and Minnesota Stamp Dealers Association.
